A Dream Realized

This November Derek was able to attend a Chicago Bears game. Although he would have preferred it to be at Soldier Field, he made do at Lambeau. Unfortunately those cheese heads gave his beloved Bears quite the beating, but he was still on the 50 yard line row 25, life doesn't get much better than that. He could almost smell Brian Urlacher's sweat!

Disneyland

This October for our family vacation we were able to go to Disneyland. We had the most wonderful time. It is amazing how once you enter those gates you turn into a little kid, and yes even Derek got in on the action. He was just as excited to meet the characters as Allee was. We also visited Sea World, went to a Chargers game, and played in the ocean. Allee and I have decided that we need to go again next year!

Our Princess

This September Allee turned 4. We can't believe how grown up she is. All of the sudden she discovered Princesses and that is all she wanted for her birthday. A few weeks after she decided to get her ears pierced. (Mom and Dad's rule was that she had to be four). She was very brave, in fact we thought she would chicken out, but she really wanted them pierced.

New Baby

This March we welcomed Pierce Derek into our family. He was a healthy 7 lb 15 oz cutie. We are so blessed to have him in our home. It is amazing what the addition of a little boy has done. We had to re-learn about babies, we forgot about late night feedings, and we definitely had to adjust our diaper changing techniques. Pierce is so happy and eager to give you a smile, as long as you don't lay him on his stomach.
