Miss L

How fast time flies!!  5 Months already since our little Layla entered our family.  Some of the FUN things she is doing right now are. . .
1. Grabbing her feet and trying to eat them.
2. Giggling.  Oh how she giggles!
3. Kisses.  Those wonderful open mouth slobbery kisses!
4. Eats rice cereal, and actually loves it.
5. Ticklish.  On her neck especially but belly, thighs, and especially her little tushy.
She is such a happy baby and I love every second of her.

Allee

She did it . . .

Allee made the move to the basement.  It is very bittersweet for me.  I have been wanting her to move down just so I could move Layla out of our bedroom.  But now that she LOVES it down there it makes me realize just how grown-up she is!  To be honest it makes me a little nervous to have her so far away, but she is showing us just how mature she is.  On Friday night she got the stomach flu AGAIN (that's 3 times in 3 months people!!)  She came upstairs, woke me up, told me she wasn't feeling good, and went straight to the restroom.  I was impressed with her to say the least (plus it is a bonus not to have to clean anything except the toilet)!

Allee is loving her new bedroom and we are excited for her because she is just so HAPPY there.

On Monday February 6th Allee was able to do the Clinton High School cheerleading clinic with a wonderful girl in our ward Hannah.  Allee loved it, and she is still stomping/clapping around our house doing cheers.

Last week on the ride home from school Allee told me a boy asked her to be his girlfriend.  I cautiously asked her what she had said, and she looked at me all serious and said, "I told him no MOM!"  I am enjoying that answer, because I am afraid in a few short years that answer will change!!
