Easter

Dying eggs is just one of those things that the kids love. It is messy, takes more time to set up and clean up than it takes to actually dye the eggs, and every one's fingers are different shades of pink and blue by the time we are done. But the cheesy smiles are worth every moment.

Pierce's basket. The Easter Bunny brought him a golf set, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, a Velcro ball game, and his absolute favorite treats, Reese's peanut butter cup eggs and chocolate milk.

Of course he loved playing with the bubbles in the living room (not my personal favorite!). The golf set was a big hit, he would push the balls all around the house with the clubs although now he can actually hit the ball. As soon as he saw his candy he kept saying, "purple treat" until we gave in and opened the bag. That boy sure loves his chocolate.

This princess is too cute to express. Allee got flip flops, chocolate milk, jelly belly jellybeans, chapstick (which she applies at least twenty times a day), Pixo's, and a new bunny Webkinz which she named Hoppily

Derek got a new tie and Mini eggs and a Coke. The Easter Bunny brought me New Moon and some Diet Coke.

Later that afternoon we went over to the Heck's and had "Linner" as Allee and I call it. The food was wonderful and it was fun to spend time with friends since we couldn't see our family. The kids had a great time playing basketball, playing in the sandbox, and having an Easter egg hunt. We can't thank the Heck's enough.

The Saturday before we went over to the Woodland's home (a family in our ward) for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. Allee had a blast running around finding eggs and after she had found her allotment she would find all the purple ones for Pierce.
